The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark advises against all travel worldwide

To minimise the risk of coronavirus mutations in Denmark, the Government has decided to tighten its travel guidelines for all destinations worldwide.

Effective from 8 January and until 17 January, Denmark has tightened its travel guidelines for all destinations worldwide from the previous level of "orange" (advising against all unnecessary travel) to "red". The Government thus advises against all travel to all destinations worldwide. This step is part of efforts to manage the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19 in Denmark. The limitation of travel activity is an important element of efforts to control the spread of infection, as mutations of the coronavirus are appearing in a number of countries.
