Joint approaches and instruments

Denmark has a clear interest in including EU cooperation more strategically into our own development cooperation – both across sectors and in relation to our bilateral and multilateral interventions. This requires that Denmark is able to influence processes, procedures and implementation in the EU cooperation.

Denmark will focus its resources to ensure maximum possible impact, for example by upgrading the dialogue and the cooperation at country level, participating in joint analyses and initiatives, and seconding staff to strategic priority areas in EU institutions and Delegations. 1. Shared results through coherent policies

  2. Joint analyses and programming

  3. Budget support, ownership and accountability

Working with these approaches and instruments will complement efforts in the three strategic priority areas.
