The normal processing time for a visa application is 15 days and currently the processing time is 15 days. This period may be extended to up to 45 days if a more detailed examination of the application and/or additional documents are required. Additionally, some applications will be submitted to the Danish Immigration Service (DIS). In those cases, around 45 days should be added to the processing time.
You should also be aware that it may be difficult to get a time slot at VFS Global to submit your application. VFS Global is only obligated to provide appointments within 14 days. Please check for available slots here.
