The Department follows and reports on U.S. foreign and security policy as well as development policy. On a daily basis, the Department is working closely with U.S. government institutions as well as the think tank and academic community. This includes policy dialogue and consultations, as well as reporting to the Danish Government on U.S. policy. The Department works to present the Danish government’s foreign, security and development policy and to promote transatlantic relations and cooperation. The Department also coordinates the Embassy's work on Arctic issues and US-Danish cooperation in the Arctic.
