By joining forces, we will build resilience and increase local
communities’ ability to better cope with the effects of climate change by
providing access to safe water and increased economic opportunities.
The call has two windows with connected objectives
- Window
1: Provide effective and prioritised support to self-reliance, including to
expanded economic opportunities and financial inclusion with a focus on
strengthening resilience and climate adaptive capacity of refugees and host
communities in Turkana County.
- Window 2: Enhance access to safe water in host and refugee settings in Turkana County, including for livelihood/productive use and improved sanitation in a sustainable way. All the tree elements of sustainability (Financial, Environment and social) need to be addressed.
