The Danish representations across North America are looking for bright and curious interns to join our teams.
You’ll find us at the Embassy and the Representation of Greenland in Washington D.C., the Consulates General in New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, and Silicon Valley, as well as the Innovation Centres in Boston and Silicon Valley.

NB. We kindly ask you to remain patient, even if you do not hear back from us within the first couple of weeks after the application deadline. Filling all positions usually takes several weeks. Have a look at our FAQ for more information on the recruitment process and expected timeline.
To apply, you must either:
- Be a Danish national enrolled in a relevant higher education program (in Denmark or abroad), or
- Be a foreign national enrolled at a Danish higher education institution (and have lived at least 3 years in Denmark).

When should I apply if I want to join you?
We offer six-month internships twice a year - during the spring semester (1 February - 31 July) and the fall semester (1 August - 31 January).
The application deadlines are:
- 10 September for the spring semester
- 10 March for the fall semester
The application portal opens one month prior to application deadline.
To apply, you must either:
- Be a Danish national enrolled in a relevant higher education program (in Denmark or abroad), or
- Be a foreign national enrolled at a Danish higher education institution (and have lived at least 3 years in Denmark).
